Cadogan Hall is a 900 seat concert venue set in the heart of Chelsea, two minutes walk from Sloane Square tube station and one stop away from Victoria.
Sing for Your Supper, from 5th - 9th August, starring Maria Friedman, Mary Carewe, Graham Bickley, Tim Howar and Simon Green will be a classy revue of the work of Rodgers and Hart.
This will be the third year running that Cadogan Hall has produced its own musical revues and, by result, the hall has gained an excellent reputation for high-quality performances of works by composers best-known for stage productions. In 2007 Good Thing Going got rave reviews and last year’s Cole Porter revue, A Swell Party, was loved equally by audience and critics. Both productions had an outstanding cast of performers who return once again to work together on Sing for Your Supper. For shows of this kind where the lyrics and expressions of the singers are paramount the intimacy and crisp acoustic of Cadogan Hall are perfect.
Edward Seckerson's interview with members of the 'Supper' cast and exclusive rehearsal song clips by Mary Carewe and Graham Bickley are just about to be posted to the Musical Summer mini site- more details coming soon...
Looking forward!
